Why is sugar so bad?

Hi

Those of you who love to consume a big mac with fries probably think that you are not addicts but you actually are. You are being deceived. The fries from that same company that produces the big mac soak the potato chips in glucose (sugar) and then fry them. The fat and sugar act on the part of your brain in the same way a drug does and the combination gives you a high.

The reason sugar is allowed to be incorporated into so many foods is because it is not generally thought of as a poison even though it does more damage than any other food that is bad for you.

What contains refined sugar:
Baby formula
Mother's milk if the mother consumes sugar
Bread. Read the label if in doubt.
Most breakfast cereals. Read the label if in doubt.
Some fries
Commercial sauces
Commercial dressings
Cakes
Donuts
Biscuits (cookies)
Jelly
Jam
Marmalade
Pickles
Most processed foods including meats.
Most things that come in a tin.
Most things that come in a bottle.

So many people are addicted that it is considered normal to long for a sugar hit but not if you longed for a heroin hit or some other illegal drug.

I see more people with bloated stomachs and stomach problems than ever before. No one has told them that they should NOT consume any sugar, fermented products (e.g. wine, vinegar, beer), mushrooms, yeast, cheese, while they are taking antibiotics or other drugs that can compromise the digestive balance in their stomach. People never had these problems before antibiotics. I am not saying that we should not take them but we should be aware they can can cause unwanted side affects and stick to a diet while we are taking them.

Your health starts with your stomach and ends with your stomach. If your digestive system is out of balance this leaves you open to allergies and systemic candida (I got that one), and cancers. Anyone who has cancer probably has Candida Albicans and/or Helicobacter pylori  which has remained untreated for some time.

If you have a bloated stomach or get stomach ailments easily (as I used to) go on the diet and take Inner Health (or similar - Acidophilus and Bifidobacterium ) capsules every day.

Cheers
